PURPOSE: To provide a silver halide photographic material which has high sensitivity and is excellent in pressure resistance and is excellent in carrying performance in a facsimile plotter and an image setter. CONSTITUTION: A coefficient of dynamic friction is set not more than 0.65 in an emulsion layer and a backing layer after humidity is adjusted at 23 deg.C for two hours in relative humidity 80% on a silver halide photographic material having at least a single layer of a silver halide emulsion layer which is composed of silver halide particles on which at least 60mol% is silver chloride and is composed of plate like silver halide particles on which a thickness is less than 0.2μm and a diameter is not less than 0.1μm and the average aspect ratio is not less than 2.
