PURPOSE: To provide a production method for radiation image conversion panel improving the quality of reproduced image. CONSTITUTION: By mixing 0.5wt.% accelerated fluorescence material BaFBr:Eu, bonding agent and solvent, slurry is produced and this slurry is spread with a doctor blade method on a support body with thickness of ca. 300μm. When the slurry is spread on the support body, it is done in a vessel with atmosphere maintained at 5 deg.C. The support body is left in this vessel for three hours after the spreading to sufficiently deposit the accelerated fluorescence material particles in the slurry. Then, the support body is taken out of the vessel to evaporate volatile components in room temperature of ca. 25 deg.C to dry the slurry and form an accelerated fluorescence material layer. By adhering a protection film to the accelerated fluorescence material layer and a radiation image conversion panel is produced.
