The appts. includes a device for compressing (14) the cork and a device for supporting the second material the glass. Compression of the cork is achieved by means of a weight moving along a balance arm, thus allowing the force of the weight to be adjusted.A force is applied to displace to cork relative to the glass, and a measurement sensor (94) determines the force necessary for this displacement.
