The screen cover is formed as a leaf (3) of flexible material, which is opaque and resistant to frost, as well as the rays of the sun. The leaf of material is generally cut into the shape of the glass surface it is designed to protect, but, in addition, it carries two side legs (5), which project outwards from the side edges of the main body of the leaf.The side legs are provided with rolls, at their outer free edges. The rolls are formed by the engagement of a rigid stick (8), which passes through a series of loops (7) arranged along the free outer edges of the two legs. The outer part of the side legs is folded longitudinally in front of the loops to form a double thickness section, in which the loops are formed.
