<p>PURPOSE: To reduce a tape traveling load and hence to reduce the number of parts required for a tape traveling system by discontinuing the conventional slant guides. CONSTITUTION: The tape traveling system of the tape loading mechanism is composed of such four guide members as a tension regulating guide 9 for supporting a tape drawn out of a supply side reel 2, a guide post 12 provided on a shuttle for guiding the tape to the inlet side of a rotary drum 14, a guide post 13 provided on a shuttle for guiding the tape to the outlet side of the rotary drum 14 and an outlet guide 21 for guiding the tape to a take-up side reel 3. Then, the tension regulating guide 9 and the outlet guide 21 are formed into slant guides having flanges, so that the tape to be supported by these individual guides is twisted to change the traveling direction and traveling height of the tape, and hence the slant guides of the shuttles are discontinued.</p> |
