GLASS ANTENNA SYSTEM FOR AUTOMOBILE TELEPHONE

摘要

PURPOSE: To obtain a small-sized, high-sensitivity antenna system which excellently receives radio waves in two frequency bands by providing necessary patterns for radiation and a grounding pattern in a symmetrical shape on the windshield glass of an automobile symmetrically about a horizontal axis so that the feed point and ground point face each other. CONSTITUTION: The windshield glass 2 of the automobile is provided with the radiation pattern 3 having patterns 3a and 3b for radiation of about 1/4 wavelength in length which receive mutually different frequency band radio waves and are connected at a specific angleαin parallel, and the grounding pattern 4 which is symmetrical with the pattern 3 is provided about the horizontal axis X-X so that the feed point A and ground point B are close and opposite each other. Impedance adjusting means formed of conductor patterns are provided at the feed point A and ground point B respectively and then the impedance of a coaxial cable 5 matches to obtain the small-sized and high-sensitivity glass antenna system for automobile which can excellently receive radio waves of two different frequency bands of 800 and 1.5GHz, etc.
