PURPOSE: To measure radon daughter nuclide and thoron daughter nuclide by separately measuring radon and thoron when measuring them. CONSTITUTION: In a measurement container 28, radon daughter nuclide and thoron daughter nuclide are captured by an electrode 44 which is a negative electrode. Therefore,αrays from radon and thoron as parent nuclides andαrays from the daughter nuclides are detected in an ionization box 30. Only radon and thoron are detected in the ionization box 32. The total count value and the details are individually, simply, and economically obtained in real time by a signal processing part 26.
