Sulphonylphenyl-beta-D-thioxylosides, process for their preparation and their use in therapy.

New industrial products consisting of the sulphonylphenyl- beta -D-thioxyloside compounds of formula: in which:   - X denotes a sulphur atom or an oxygen atom,   - R denotes a C1-C4 alkyl group, a substituted amino group NR1R2 (where each of R1 and R2, which are identical or different, denotes a C1-C4 alkyl group, it being possible for R1 and R2 considered together to form with the nitrogen atom to which they are bonded a piperidinyl or morpholinyl group) or a phenyl group optionally substituted in the para position by a cyano group or by a halogen atom; and   - Y denotes a hydrogen atom or an aliphatic acyl group. These compounds can be used in therapeutics, especially as venous antithrombotic agents.
