PURPOSE: To provide an optical radio transmitter/receiver with which an optical axis can be automatically adjusted with simple and low-priced configuration and fine adjustment is made possible by providing a light receiving part for receiving optical signals at a narrow directional angle and a wide directional angle. CONSTITUTION: An optical transmitter/receiver 2A is arranged inside a casing main body 12A vertically integrally constituting an optical transmitter 9A and an optical receiver 10A. The lower optical receiver 10A is provided with a photodetector 16A for receiving an optical information signal transmitted from the optical transmitter and a transmitted pilot signal. This photodetector 16A is composed of a photodetector (photodetecting part) 16A1 equipped with the narrow directional angle at the central part and a photodetector (photodetecting part) 16A2 , equipped with the wide directional angle surrounding this element 16A1 . At the time of first search, the photodetector 16A2 at the wide directional angle is used so that the search can be accelerated and made effective, the seed search is continuously performed by using the photodetector 16A1 at the narrow directional angle so that search accuracy can be improved, and optical axes can be mutually matched. |
