<p>PURPOSE: To prevent the unauthorized use of a toll road by the replacement of a vehicle side transmitter/receiver(on-vehicle ID tag. etc.). CONSTITUTION: This system is an automatic toll road charging system consisting of a gate side transmitter/receiver installed at the entrance/exit gate of a toll road and the vehicle side transmitter/receiver which transmits vehicle information to the gate side transmitter/receiver. The vehicle side transmitter/receiver is equipped with a charging circuit 1 loaded on a vehicle started up by the operation of a key 2 transmittable a key code for lock/unlock of the door of the vehicle and which transmits the vehicle information, a receiving part 3 which receives the key code, a code registering part 4 which stores a registration code proper to the vehicle, a code judging circuit 5 which judges whether or not the key code coincides with the registration code, and a control circuit 6 which operates the charging circuit 1 when the key code coincides with the registration code in the judged result of the code judging circuit 5.</p> |
