PURPOSE: To provide an underwater luminaire by which work on a pool at the time of replacing a lamp or the like becomes simple and safe and which is excellent in workability of replacing a lamp socket. CONSTITUTION: A glass globe 6 to surround a lamp 3 is installed on the front end of a lamp house 2, and is formed as a structure that the lamp 3 projects to the front of a reflecting mirror 9 in a condition where a front part 20 of its lamp house 2 is embedded inside a luminaire main body 1, and a fastening tool 8 to fix the lamp house 2 to the luminaire main body 1 is made operable in its fitting condition only by finger force. A lamp socket 4 is installed inside the lamp house 2 through an installing metal fitting 5 made of an elastic material so as to be freely mountable and demountable, and a terminal stand 11 is used to connect wiring between the lamp socket 4 and a cable C. |
