IMAGE FORMING DEVICE

PURPOSE: To output a color image without making the cost of a device high, without necessitating troublesome maintenance and without impairing the characteristic of a monochrome image by providing a specified electrification means, an image exposure means, a developing means, a uniform exposure means and a transfer means. CONSTITUTION: The electrification device 2, the exposure device 10, the developing device 4 and a cleaning device 15 are arranged around an image carrier 1. The uniform exposure means 5 is arranged inside the image carrier 1, and the uniform exposure is performed at a contact part between the image carrier 1 and a functional transfer medium 8 from the inner surface of the image carrier 1. The surface of the image carrier 1 is uniformly electrified by the device 2, and an electrostatic latent image is formed by the exposure device 10. The electrostatic latent image is developed by the developing device 4 to be the image with coloring particulates. Furthermore, the transfer medium 8 is exposed by the exposure means 5 arranged on the inner surface of the image carrier 1 by setting the image with the coloring particulates as a mask, and the image is transferred to a medium to be transferred 9 by a thermal transfer and fixing device 7 from the transfer medium 8 after exposure.
