PURPOSE: To simplify the setting of a typeface and to reduce manhour for the preparation of a drawing by using a specific character display condition as a character display condition for the new input or change of character information to a preparing data input. CONSTITUTION: In a drawing 10 for parts, information data 13 constituted of 1st characters relating to displayed parts drawings 11, 12 are written and new information data 14 constituted of 2nd characters are additionally written. At the time of inputting characters constituting the new information data 14, a current character display condition is changed, and when the character display condition of characters constituting the existing information data 13 is applied, a character string is specified by using a stylus pen. Namely after specifying any one of characters in the data 13 by the stylus pen, a change in a typeface is instructed by a keyboard to specify a new typeface. The new typeface is specified by specifying any one of characters in the data by the stylus pen or displaying a list of typefaces on a display device in accordance with a typeface changing instruction and selecting and setting up one of the typefaces from the list. |
