<p>The anti theft device limits the turning force on the steering column and consists of a section of column (5) surrounded by a collar (4), which is arranged within one of the steering column supports (3). The support is formed with a cavity (4'), for the reception of the immobilisation bolt (2), the shaft (5') of the steering column and the collar. The section of the column (5) is partially surrounded by a plastic material (6), which is located within the space, formed between the section of column and the collar and is fixed to both the collar and the section of column by means of adhesive and by the relative shapes.
