PURPOSE: To provide the character editing device capable of preventing the specification of format information and command information from falling into confusion by reflecting the command information on the format information. CONSTITUTION: This character editing device is equipped with a means which specifies attributes (format information) regarding the arrangement, display, etc., of the whole character data, a specifying means (step S81) which specifies attributes (command information) regarding the arrangement, display, etc., of part of the character data, means (steps S86-S88) which reflect the specified command information on the format information when the whole character data that are already inputted are specified with a command, and a means (step S89) which rearranges and displays the character data according to the attributes specified with the format information and command information. |
