PURPOSE: To enable even a user who is skilled in language different from the language of a document to be elaborated to smoothly and correctly elaborate a document. CONSTITUTION: When a document elaboration request is made through an input part 1, a document elaboration control part 5 makes a message generation control part 14 generates a document elaboration menu in Japanese, converts it into the language, set in a storage part 6, that the user is skilled in, e.g. English here by a translation part 16, and displays it at a display part 8 by a display control part 7. Then the document elaboration control part 5 reads an elaboration object document in a range that the user specifies out of a storage part 6 and sends it to an analysis part 10, which takes a grammatical analysis. An error detection part 12 checks the grammatical analytic result as to items selected by the user out of the document elaboration menus, and passes the obtained error detection result data to a message generation control part 5, which generates an error detection message; and part of it is converted into English by the translation part and displayed at the display part 8. |
