PURPOSE: To provide an outdoor unit for an air conditioner, which supports a torque generating during operation of opening and closing valves with a small number of component parts, which is excellent in workability of assembling the outdoor unit and which has a closing valve mounting structure capable of reliably preventing vibration from being transmitted from a compressor. CONSTITUTION: An accumulator 5 is fixed to a bottom plate 1 of an outdoor unit case 9 with the aid of a fixing stand 2. One end 3a of a mounting plate 3 to which closing valves 21, 22 are mounted is fixed to a side edge 4a of a partition 4 of the case 9, and the other end 3b of the mounting plate 3 is fixed to the fixing stand 2 with the aid of a stay 7. Further, a vibration-proof rubber member 8 is interposed between the lower end of the accumulator 5 and the fixing stand 2. |
