<p>PURPOSE: To provide an incinerator wherein harmful high polymeric substances and bad odor contained in non-combusted gas produced due to combustion in a chief combustion furnace are completely removed and which has sterilization action. CONSTITUTION: An incinerator is adapted such that there is used as a chief combustion furnace 4 an internal space the circumference of which is surrounded with a refractory wall and which includes a chief combustion burner 3 on a rear wall thereof, and there is used on the upper part of the chief combustion furnace 4 as a re-combustion furnace 6 an internal space the circumference of which is surrounded with a refractory wall and which includes a re- combustion burner provided on a front wall thereof, and further the re- combustion furnace 6 and the chief combustion furnace 4 are communicated and coupled with each other through a service entrance 7. The service entrance 7 is provided slightly displaced from the center of a jet flame jetted from the re-combustion burner 5, and non-combustion gas fed after rising from the chief combustion furnace 4 through the service entrance 7 and the jet flame jetted from the re-combustion burner 5 are brought into contact with each other, in a displaced state.</p> |
