PURPOSE: To quickly select a range-finding point by providing a range-finding point display device with the respective range-finding judging means and the respective range-finding propriety display means of the plural range-finding points based on obtained range-finding information. CONSTITUTION: The control and the arithmetic operation of respective circuits are executed by a CPU 1. A range-finding means 2 is provided with five range-finding points so as to measure a distance to a subject. It is judged by a range-finding feasible point judging means 4 whether the range-finding of the range-finding point can be executed or not and the judged result is displayed on a display means 3. When the range-finding of the range-finding point cannot be executed, a warning such as a buzzer is issued by a warning means 6. Besides, the luminance of the subject is measured by a photometry means 8 by dividing the subject into plural parts. By the judging means 4, lens information obtained from a photographing lens 7 or luminance information obtained from the photometry means 8 is referred when it is judged whether the range-finding of the respective range-finding points can be executed or not. In such a way, the range-finding point is quickly selected. Besides, the warning is displayed when the range-finding point whose range-finding cannot be executed is selected so that the range-finding point whose range-finding can be executed can be selected. |
