PURPOSE: To provide a radio communication system for performing effective transmission output control for reducing power consumption at a system where plural radio base stations at different transmission levels exist. CONSTITUTION: Concerning the radio communication system composed of plural radio base stations 20-23 at the different transmission output levels and one or plural radio mobile stations 24-27 to be connected by a radio channel so as to make possible the transmission output control, this system is provided with a means for transmitting identification codes corresponding to the transmission output levels from the radio base stations 20-23, at the radio mobile stations 24-27, the plural radio base stations at the different transmission output levels are discriminated from the identification codes, and the optimum transmission output levels are set. |
