摘要 To form a layer cake within the mould, the base (1) is of dough to support an intermediate layer (2) of fruit, cream, jam or chocolate. A cream mould (3) is shaped on the intermediate layer (2) with a vertical edge (3b) extending upwards from its base (3a), to contain several biscuit roll sections (4) next to and around each other in an upright array. The rolls (4) are covered by a further intermediate layer (5) of dough, fruit, cream or marzipan to be covered by a flat or domed cream layer (6). The cream (6) cover has a decoration (7) of fruit, scatter decorations or gratings, chocolate, almonds or marzipan.
