The actuating rod (22) connected to the brake pedal enters a control casing (42) fixed to a movable partition between a vacuum chamber and a working chamber (14). At its inner end (45) a pressure rod (44) is axially movable in a sliding socket (47) and carries an inner valve seating (46).The outer valve seating (50) is formed on the inside of the control casing. Axial movement is limited by a radial projection (80) from the pressure rod with a switching element (88) which comes up against a stop (92) and sends a signal to the electronic control unit.
