The device serves for the treatment of drilling oil emulsion directly on a machine tool or the like, in order thus to solve the disposal problem and to eliminate environmental pollution due to spent drilling oil emulsion. The device comprises, successively in the direction of treatment, a density separation device (10), in which particles are precipitated from the drilling oil emulsion, a calming chamber (12) for venting the drilling oil emulsion leaving the density separation device (10), a labyrinth (14) in which organic hydrocarbon compounds are separated from the drilling oil emulsion thermally or by osmosis, a vacuum collection space (16) and a separation device (18) in which remaining organic hydrocarbons are separated from the fluid leaving the labyrinth (14) by means of polymetal cluster catalyst plates (54) or by means of a mixture of minerals. At the end, the device delivers distilled water which can be discarded without risk or from which drilling oil emulsion can again be prepared by addition of additives. <IMAGE> |
