Expansion dowel for anchoring in bore of concrete component

The expansion dowel has an expansion sleeve (1) with longitudinal slits and a peripheral cutting edge, whose front side abuts a spacer cap (14) supported by the cylindrical borehole bottom. Into the sleeve conically tapering inner bore can be driven an expansion mandrel (4).The mandrel is in the form of a double-conical shoulder (5,6) with two different inclination angles. The spacer cap is coupled to the expansion sleeve by a holder. The envelope of the first conical shoulder (5) encloses an angle of 6 to 8 deg. with the longitudinal axis, while that of the second shoulder (6) encloses an angle of 4 to 6 deg.
