The pump body (30) contains cylinder bores (17) for spring-loaded pistons (12), surrounding an eccentric (8) in a star-shaped pattern. The eccentric carries a slide ring (13) and a slide bush (14), and has on either side run-up discs (27, 28). The piston insides (21) are coupled to a suction chamber in the eccentric region, coupled to the oil reservoir, via suction valves (25) in the piston crown (16).The run-up discs are so held in the pump body at their outer dia. that the suction chamber is limited to an annular chamber (26) in the eccentric peripheral section. The annular chamber receiver ducts (28), coupled to the oil reservoir, between the pistons.
