<p>The seal has a seal (4) of PTFE bonded to a plastics carrier body (2) with an exchange of materials at the bond. The PTFE, for the seal (4) contains an additive of the carrier body (2) material, to be placed in a mould where the carrier body is shaped by injection moulding. The carrier body (2) is pref. of polyphenylene sulphide, polyamide and polyethylene.</p>
