Three=dimensional prod. formation from thermoplastic thin sheet

A process for mfg. three-dimensional thermoplastic products from sheet material involves: i) heating and transporting the sheet (5) to a position above a tool (3) with the stroking and/or swivelling action; ii) fastening a sheet (5) edge to the tool (3) edge; iii) moving the transporting unit(1) backwards and swivelling the tool (3) to progressively lay the sheet (5) over the whole tool surface; iv) applying vacuum and/or gas pressure to press the sheet (5) against the tool (3) surface; andv) cooling the product (6) and demoulding. Also claimed are:(a) an alternative process; and(b) process equipment.
