The car differential comprises a controllable blocking including (5) actuated by a hydraulic a pneumatic circuit. The actuating circuit (4) consists of a high pressure, secondary hydraulic circuit (8), acting upon the blocking mechanism, in front of which is coupled a low pressure, primary pneumatic circuit acting upon the hydraulic one.Pref. the hydraulic circuit contains a hydraulic cylinder (25), whose pressure is increased by a pneumatic cylinder (11), forming part of the pneumatic circuit. The latter has a larger cross-section and is fitted in front of the hydraulic cylinder.
