The clutch operation plan (M<SLP) contains two regions of hysteresis (R-1, R-2) associated with manual and automatic transmission ratio changes.One magnetic valve (74) of the hydraulic clutch control unit (70) is operated by a signal generator (63) subject to a decision device (60) at the top of a hierarchy with a switching state decision circuit (61) and a time-lapse decision circuit (62).
