A clutch plate (1) for a friction clutch includes a hub (33) and two cover pressings (7, 8), one on each side of the hub (33). The cover pressings (7, 8) have windows (17, 18) for spring elements (3) and carry lining carriers (4) with friction linings (5), and have openings (16) for balancing rivets (19). Two identical cover pressings (7, 8) are used, each having in its outside diameter regions (11, 12; 13) of different diameters, the regions of larger diameter (11, 12) being provided with the openings (15) for attachment rivets for lining carrier (14) and the openings (16) for the balancing rivets (19), and the regions of smaller diameter (13) being provided between them. The cover pressings (7, 8) are assembled so that the openings (16) for the balancing rivets (19) on one cover pressing correspond axially to regions of smaller diameter on the other cover pressing, so that access for riveting tools is possible from both sides. This enables the balancing rivets (19) to be fixed in a conventional way, so that they are properly secured.
