The actuating rod (22) connected to the brake pedal enters a control casing (42) fixed to a movable partition between a vacuum chamber and a working chamber (14). At its inner end a pressure rod (44) is axially movable in a seal (47) and through the armature sleeve (40) of an electromagnet (102), and carries an inner valve seating (46).The outer valve seating (50) is formed on the inside of the control casing. Axial movement is limited by a radial projection (80) from the pressure rod with a switching element (88) signalling contact with either of two end stops (90, 92).
