The invention concerns a force-transmission arrangement by means of which a reciprocating movement is converted into a continuously rotating movement or a continuously rotating movement is converted into a reciprocating movement. Two parallel rods with teeth on facing sides cooperate directly with teeth which are provided over less than half the periphery or outer casing of a solid wheel, in particular an integral solid wheel, disposed between the rods, in each case only teeth of one rod meshing with the teeth of the wheel. At least one device is provided for the further rotation of this wheel or changing over the rods during pauses in the meshing of the wheel teeth with the rod teeth. The invention is characterized in that a rigid two-pronged fork, preferably a double fork (3, 6, 11), is provided for the force transmission and is rigidly connected to a drive rod and a driven rod, respectively, in particular a piston rod (1, 9). The rod-like prongs (3, 6, 11) of the double fork, which are rigidly connected via a fork head or fork heads (2, 10) which is (are) rigidly connected to the drive rod and driven rod (1, 9), respectively, form the above-mentioned toothed rods (3, 6, 11) which are advanced tangentially towards said wheel (4, 12). The wheel (4, 12) comprises fixed rigid teeth (4a, 12a) which are only of the same size and shape and tooth gaps or spaces which are only of the same size and shape. For the further rotation of the wheel (4, 12) or change-over of the rods (3, 6, 11) either a tooth (5, 8) which is longer than the other teeth on the rods (3, 6, 11) is provided at the end of the row of teeth (3a, 11a) on each of the two rods (3, 6, 11) or a special tooth (13, 14) is provided on the interior of a fork head (10) in the region of its root. |
