<p>An overshoe (10) is formed of a resiliently deformable plastic material, such as foamed polyethylene, and includes an upwardly open chamber (11) into which the user places his or her foot. The chamber (11) is defined by a base (12) and an upwardly extending wall (13) having an inwardly projecting rib (14) which is displaced outwardly on insertion of a foot into the chamber (11) so that a resilient gripping action is exerted by the wall (13) to hold the overshoe (10) in position on the foot.</p> |
