The seat and backrest are moulded separately in the form of shells (4) or can be moulded as one unit. They are moulded in a hard plastics and are covered in a flame-proof material. The material is preferably woollen, which is applied directly to the shells without a cushion or cushioning material being placed between the material (5) and the shells. The moulded shells are mounted on a sheet metal frame.
