The oil outlet of the engine oil cooler is connected for flow purposes via a pressure oil outflow conduit and a lubricating oil conduit with its cold oil outlet. A venting conduit (19) branches from the pressure oil feed conduit (14). It issues in a pressureless area of the oil-cooled engine.The venting conduit incorporates a throttle (20). In the pressure oil feed conduit there is a check valve (21) and in the pressure oil outflow conduit (18) there is an outlet check valve (22). Both check valves are spring loaded to open in the flow direction. The venting conduit branches between the inflow check valve and the oil inlet (15) of the pressure oil feed conduit.
