Motor car with extending rear bumper

The rear bumper is mounted on profiled rods (1,2,3) which are aligned in the longitudinal direction of the car and which are mounted in guide bushes in the rear structure of the vehicle. The rods allow the bumper to be pulled from the normal into an extended position.In the extended position, the profiled rods form supports for bicycles. The distance between the rods in a set, at each side, in such that they will support a bicycle wheel. While the distance between two sets of rods equals that of the standard distance between the centres of bicycle wheels.
