The device is used for removal of ice and snow etc. from a vehicle windscreen via one or more driven surfaces, with a shape or surface structure allowing the ice to be broken up and removed.Each of the surfaces is pref. provided by a circular disc, which is rotated by an electric motor supplied from a storage battery (2), pref. housed in the operating handle of the windscreen clearing device. An ice scraper (8) can be attached to the housing (7) of the device.
