Pressure operated positioner for activating door lock

The pressure operated positioner has a positioning piston (5) sliding in a cylinder chamber (2) to which a pressure source, pref. a pneumatic pump (1), is connected. The chamber has an outlet (7) in which a sensor valve (8), having a connecting element (13), is fitted.The piston opens the sealing element of the valve on reaching its end position. A pressure sensor (10) detects the sudden pressure change occurring when the sensor valve opens. The sensor valve can be fitted either in the cylinder housing or in the piston.
