PURPOSE: To control an image mode on the basis of a detecting result of the accurate image concentration by removing influence of the light except the reflected light from a document and influence by an installing error and an individual difference of a light quantity detecting means from light quantity data of the light quantity detecting means at image forming mode time. CONSTITUTION: At adjusting mode time, a black reference member 15 is opposed to a photosensor 20, and light receiving data outputted from an A/D converter 42 at this time is stored in a memory 44. Driving control of a copy lamp 3 is performed on the basis of a value by subtracting output data stored in the memory 44 from output data of the A/D converter 42 in a condition where the photosensor 20 is opposed to a document 33 at image forming mode time. |
