The transducer to measure viscoelastic measurements to viscosity sensors, especially in process control, utilises a measurement capillary (1) and a supply device (2) to generate a flow volume through the capillary (1) and two or more pressure sensors (6,7) to measure the pressure drop across the capillary length.The supply device (2) has an oscillating delivery characteristic where the amplitude and frequency may be preset and varied by a sine generator.
