An injector, in which a needle is stored in a syringe after the use of the injector, and a hub integrally mounting thereto, the needle can be assembled from the tip end side of the syringe. The injector is constructed such that a slit portion (2f) formed with slits (2j) is formed on a tip end of a small-diameter portion of the syringe (2), in which the hub (4) is fitted, engaging hooks (2g) are formed on a tip end of the slit portion (2f), and an engaging step (4d) is formed on an outer peripheral surface of the hub (4) whereby the hub (4) having been inserted with its tip end first is prevented from passing toward the tip end side of the syringe (2) by the engaging step (4d) being engaged with the engaging hooks (2g) due to an elastic deformation of the portion (2f).
