The present invention relates to a grinding cup (10; 10'; 10") for a grinding machine used in the grinding of buttons of a rock drilling bit. The grinding cup (10; 10'; 10") includes a shank (11), flush channels (18, 25) and a wear part (12; 12'; 12"). The wear part (12; 12'; 12") has a cavity (15) which grinds the button (16). One of the flush channels, referred to as a second flush channel (25) terminates at least partly in the cavity. The grinding cup has a center axis (14). An intermediate conduit means (23; 23'; 23") is provided between a first flush channel (18) and the second flush channel (25), said intermediate conduit means having a larger radial extension than the second flush channel. The second flush channel (25) is displaced in the radial direction relative to the center axis (14). The cavity (15) has a radially outermost border line (L1). The second flush channel has a radially innermost part (26) which is radially separated a distance (S) from the center axis (14). The distance (S) is larger than 2% of the largest diameter (D) of the cavity (15).
