High pressure buffer in vehicle doors

The buffer walls (1) are made from an elastic non-breakable tear- resistant material such as rubber or nylon with steel reinforcement. The cavity between the walls is filled with high pressure fluid. A double valve (2) is provided on the buffer for filling and releasing the pressure.The buffer has on the back wall a pipe (9) for stopping and sealing the valve. The double valve has at the front a non-return valve (4), a bore in the centre, a bore/nozzle (6) at the side and a cutting edge (8) at the back.
