The clothes hanger comprises a clothes bar and hook (6) as well as a further handle (8) which can be mounted in the same plane or outside of the plane of the hook and bar. The handle can be formed by an arm extending at an angle away from the bar.The handle can be formed integral with the hanger or by a curved part set at the side of the bar whose lower part is connected to the bar and whose upper end is connected to the hook.
