A second lubricating oil circuit for the exhaust gas prepn. cylinder is provided.The exhaust gas prepn. cylinder is connected with a water feed device. An exhaust gas channel (24) from the exhaust gas prepn. cylinder issues directly into an exhaust gas outlet of an adjoining cylinder (7), which is so arranged that it is fed with fresh air without exhaust gas from the air feed devices (9-17).
