A drying carrier adapted for carrying honeycomb-structures (3) includes a plurality of perforated plates (10) spaced to each other in the longitudinal direction of the drying carrier (1) and made of a material e.g. metal, having a conductivity higher than that of the rest of the drying carrier. Each of said perforated plates (10) is provided with a convex portion (11) having an upper contacting surface of the honeycomb structure (3) to be carried.
