Pulverized palladium is dispersed in a 3 N aqueous nitric acid solution. The nitric acid solution is irradiated by UV rays at about 300 nm to become capable of dissolving palladium. Palladium can be dissolved easily and efficiently in the UV irradiated nitric acid solution. |
