PURPOSE: To provide the upper body support assisting device for the bed, etc., which support the attitude where a user sit touching the feet on the floor surface by the bed. CONSTITUTION: This device has waist patch part 4 corresponding to both the waist parts of the user and a back rest 5 which is fitted with those waist patch parts 4 and supports the back of the user, and each waist patch part 4 is equipped with a base column 8 which is inserted into the fitting hole 7 of an insertion type side shelf, etc., of the side frame 6 of the bed 1. While the waist patch parts 4 are fitted to the back rest 5 in a foldable state together with the base column 8, the back reset 5 is made foldable to the side where the wait patch part 4 is fitted. Consequently, the attitude where the user sits touching the feet on the floor surface by the bed can be supported, the burden on the user is light, and the user never rolls down. |
