<p>PURPOSE: To make a highly sealable attachment possible without giving impact or bending stress to a filter pipe by a method wherein, in a structure for attaching the filter pipe to be incorporated in a dust collecting device to a tube plate, the filter pipe is secured around the peripheral edge of a through hole of the tube plate via a tube fitting made from the combination of a bellows and a universal joint. CONSTITUTION: In a dust collecting device having ceramic filter pipes 15 and 16 installed with their axes direction coinciding with the vertical direction in upper and lower purifying gas chambers 32 and 33 respectively, when the filter pipe 16 is attached to a can body 11, the filter pipe 16 is previously provided with metal rings 17 and 21 fixed to its upper and lower ends respectively, a bellows 18 and a flange 28 fixed to the upper end and a tube fitting 27 fixed to the lower end. The filter pipe 16 is inserted from above the can body 11 into the through holes 20 of tube plates 12 and 13 and a connecting ring 3 of the tube fitting 27 and a tubular seat 31 fixed to a tube plate 14 are securely held together. At the upper end of the filter pipe 16, the flange 28 is fixed to the tube plate 13 and a tubular pressing plate 30 is fixed to a tubular seat 29. The filter pipe 15 is likewise installed in the upper purifying gas chamber 32.</p> |
