<p>PURPOSE: To realize smooth vertical travel of an actuating plunger of an electromagnetic pump and to improve energy efficiency of the electromagnetic pump by manufacturing the actuating plunger thereof by sintering at a high temperature in a die and fluidizing oil into upper and lower parts of a plunger head via a flow passage at vertical traveling. CONSTITUTION: When electricity is conducted to a solenoid 106, an actuating plunger 150 is raised due to magnetization of a magnetic core 109, the volume of a first space 171 in a lower part of a piston 152 is expanded, and oil flows into the first space 171. Next, when conducting electricity to the solenoid 106 is interrupted, the actuating plunger 150 is lowered by a spring 112, the pressure of oil in the space 171 is increased, and oil is discharged via a second space 172 in an upper part of the piston 152, a central flow passage 107 of the magnetic core 109, a discharge valve 108, and a discharge nozzle 105. Oil in the second space 172 flows between the upper and lower parts of a plunger head 151 via a flow passage 156 according to the vertical travel of the plunger head 151 to lubricate a slide part.</p> |
